American Wheat Ale
The crisp, clean flavors of Triangle’s American Wheat are refreshingly light, a thirst-quenching American-style unfiltered wheat beer. Released for the first time in celebration of our 7th Anniversary on the 4th of July 2014. Our American Wheat Ale is an all-malt beer, with over 50% of its malt derived from malted wheat and unmalted red wheat. It is fermented with an American style top-fermenting “ale” yeast, yielding a clean, balanced flavor that highlights the refreshingly light flavor of malted wheat. The head is unusually abundant due to the natural protein deposits of wheat, with a thick creamy consistency.
This beer can be served with a lemon wedge (popularized by Americans), to either cut the wheat or yeast edge. Some people find the lemon to be a flavorful snap … or an insult and something that damages the beer’s taste and head retention. We trust you to decide for yourself. 4.2%abv
It’s getting to be that time of year again! Starting to plan our annual pub crawl for Saturday July 12. We will be starting at the Pint & Plate at 4:30 and leaving for our next venue for 6pm. We will be returning to the Pint & Plate for 9pm, so you can always meet up with us there if you need to. Hopefully this will give everyone (and our kitchen) a chance to get food before we consume some beers. Other venues will be announced as we get closer. Yes folks, this is not a joke or a dream! Our kitchen at the Pint & Plate officially opened last Thursday May 29, 2014. We are currently only serving a limited menu in the evening. As we get staff trained and some kinks worked out we will be adding to the menu with the plans to be serving lunch and dinner. Come by and bring your appetite and a little patience as our new staff members work hard to provide you a wonderful experience. Cheers and thanks in advance!
